Palettes - MacOS
I often have difficulty with the Palettes in MuseScore. I don't know if this is because I use MacOS or because of some other reason.
Essentially I find that the palettes disappear, and then it requires several attempts to get them back.
This is hard to describe.
Some of the problems seem to be when the palettes are floating, and they get hidden behind other pages or indeed other applications in MacOS.
I also wonder if the Master Palette never docks. I have noticed interactions between palettes if more than one is open - such as the Mixer. Part of the problem I experience may be due to some palettes hiding, or taking preference over other palettes.
Lastly, when the palette menu is visible I would find it very helpful if a single click or mouse hover would show the underlying individual palette. Currently I have this set so that only one palette is visible at a time, which makes a lot of sense for me given the limited screen estate - even with a 27 inch screen, but I have to do a double mouse click in order to get each individual palette to show.
I have experimented a bit to see if I can figure out why I find the palettes so difficult - and indeed just discovered that there are many more palettes than I knew about.
Is it the case that the Master Palette never docks?

Yes, the Master Palette never docks
On the 'normal' palette a double-click is needed on the palette title, but single click is sufficien on the arrow left of that

Thank you - Good - at least you have confirmed that the Master Palette isn't going to dock, so I don't need to chase that up.
I would like to be able to use a single click on the names in the 'normal' palette. Any chance of having that as a feature or a preference setting?
Other issues - such as trying to sort out why the palettes disappear - I'll keep working on those.

That single click issue arrose when the palletes got changed from being coded in C++ to QML. I don't think there is a solution for this
