Error 2755 When Trying to Install
Hello. I downloaded the Install file for Windows 10 / 64 bit op system. When I run it, it gives me the following message:
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2755."
Here is my PC info. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. However, none of these methods fixed the problem. The site recommends using Reimage Repair Tool. Do you know if that is a legitimate utility to use?

I've never had this problem. I usually google errors such as this and link to a page with a few possible solutions. A previous time, someone linked to https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows…. You can use the spyglass on the menus on this page to look for other people have found the the 2755 error code, or google the error code for yourself. Unfortunately, few people report back that a specific methods fixes their problem.

Success! The issue was that the Musescore installation file was downloading to my User...Downloads folder. I tried again and did a Save-as, and directed it to save in the C: Installer folder. Then I ran the install and it worked perfectly.

I don't think that helps, as MuseScore doesn't come in APK format (except for the mobile app for Android, maybe, but that ain't dealt with here on mosescore.org)
