basic MuseScore user interface

When I first opened MuseScore3 and loaded a midi file, there was a panel at the bottom listing the parts and instruments in the piece. Check marks allowed importing some or all of the parts. But that panel has disappeared and I haven't found how to restore it. What is that panel called and how can I get it back? Thank you.
