Non-bold dynamics text
The display for dynamics, (mp, mf, f etc.), seem to have a semi-bold effect built in. Is there any way to show them as normal text?

I don't think so, directly, but you can double-click and insert the text

Thanks, that works - but, somehow, it just doesn't look right! I guess that it's like Marc says, dynamics are expected to look a certain way.
They probably aren't bold, that's just the standard characters in whatever "musical text font" you are using. Most such fonts do indeed have a fairly heavy weight, as per how dynamics are pretty much always printed. if you have some special reason to want to use non-standard text, you can simply edit the text to use the regular letters p & f etc, but not recommend if you are giving this to musicians accustomed to standard notation.
