Is it possible to delete a user template?
Some time ago, I created a user template. I followed the directions for how and where to save it, and all went well. But now, I'd like to delete it—specifically, I want to replace it with a new template—but the Templates folder where I saved it appears to be empty. Any suggestions as to how I might find it, or why it would have been deleted? (And just so you don't think its disappearance solves my problem, the template still appears in the start-up wizard.)
I am running MuseScore 3.6.2 on Mac OS Mojave (10.14.6).

Or use the finder to locate the path to the *.mscz file

Yes, that's what I already tried, but the template isn't there.

Does it have a name? Or maybe it only exists in the list of recent files?

MuseScore also looks in any subfolders of that folder. It doesn't look anywhere else, so if you're seeing the template in your Custom section when you go to create new scores, its got to be there in your user template folder. be sure you are looking in Documents/MuseScore3, not Documents/MuseScore2, and definitely not in the application folder.
