highlighting/marking bar
Dear,
As member of a choir we do print the total score for all voices which includes sometimes 8 bars. But it would be easy for reading when to be able to highlight/mark one voice only on a individual base. Eg I am a tenor and would like to see the tenor score marked with light yellow.
Is this possible and if not would you consider to create this possibility? I am pretty sure that more choir-members will be in favour of this.
Thanks in advance for your reaction
kind regards

See the Color Voices plugin (for a closed score, like to separate Tenor from Bass)
Or in general use the Inspector to change the color of elements

Thanks but how do I obtain the Color Voices plugin as - as far as I can see- is not pre installed?

ps It looks like the plugin you are referring to is a color NOTES plugin, this is not what I do mean

No, Color Notes comes preinstalled, Color Voices does not and is available under that link

I don't think you want the tenor notes to be light yellow! A few years ago someone created a palette for highlighting as if with a magic marker. It works very well. It produces a highlight above the staff which you can then drag into position. If it stretches over several lines you can R-click and 'select all similar', then drag or use the inspector to move them all at once.
You can get it here: https://musescore.org/en/node/176256#comment-731021
Handbook instructions for installing are here: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/palettes#palette-menu under "Load Palette..."

Thanks, I didn't mean to highlight the notes but the staff (or part of it). This solution works fine , I installed the palette and was able to mark certain areas. Again thanks a lot

Note though that voices in the context of that plugin doesn't mean human voices (Soprano, Alto, Senor, Bass, etc), but voice 1-4 in a single (MuseScore) staff
