Drop D tuning in Tabulature
I am trying to write a piece in TAB for guitar that has drop D tuning. Unfortunately, when I am writing on the low E string, the numbers will not appear on that string, but will appear in red on the high E string instead. Is there any way to get the correct numbers on the correct string? I have tried to look this up in the Online Handbook, but it does not seem to cover this particular problem. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Generally, you just click on the notehead and move string with [Shift]-Up/DowArrow. You may have done something wrong with the string assignment and if you post the score that would help others to check.

In order to assist, we'd need the score itself, not just a picture of it.

I changed the string assignment to D2 on both the string assignment and the overall assignment in "Properties".

In Staff Properties>Edit String Data do you have the 6th string set to D2, and the 1st string set to D4?
