Can I upload and/or update sheets in here with older versions of Musescore 3?
The latest version of Musescore 3 stopped working on me, the playback button is grayed out, notes won't play when I place them or click on them, and the Mixer option (F10) is also grayed out.
So I downloaded an older version of Musescore 3, the very first one, and I wonder if the site is still compatible with sheets I make with it?

Yikes, you mean 3.0? That probably never should have been released, as it was more "beta" quality. Definitely don't risk destroying your scores with that one!
Instead, focus on figuring out what the conflict is with the playback - see https://musescore.org/en/node/96811 for ideas

Believe me when I say that I tried every step possible before giving up. Could you suggest to me an older version that would not be as "broken" as 3.0?

You don’t seem to have completed step 9 - the one about creating a post here and attaching specific system details that would allow us to assist further. So be sure to complete that one. But while you’re there, you might want to check the article again to be sure you didn’t miss anything else as well. It’s also easy to miss the info after step 9, so be sure to head all the way through. The bit about exclusive use of devices seems to hit a bunch of people recently.

Ok I'll do it again

Steps 3 and 4 tell me to open Synthetizer and check if there's a soundfont loaded. Then it tells me that if my Synthetizer is disabled, to restore factory settings and then check for the soundfont.
The guide does not tell me what to do if Synthetizer is still disabled AFTER I restore factory settings and skips to the next step.
Stoping here for now.

That list is not a step-by-step process; it's a listing of different possible causes and remedies.

As mentioned, it's not a set of steps to follow in order' it's a set of independent steps to try in pretty much any order until you find the one that solves the problem with your particular system. So, assuming you've already tried the first four, now it's time to try 5, 6, and 7 (assuming you're on Windows; otherwise try 8 instead of 7). Then if still nothing, see the instructions below step 9 where it talks about "exclusive control" for Windows, or the various instructions including PRAM reset for macOS. Then if nothing works, be sure to complete step 9. But I suspect one of the other steps will solve it.
But yes, you can upload, File > Save online, with and 2.x and 3.x version. For 1.x you'd need to upload directly on the musescore.com website.
Are you on a Mac by any chance?
