Creating a chamber music practice tool
There is a lot of practice software available for choirs so that individual parts can practice their lines alone or together with the other lines - e.g. Choralia or Cyberbass. I would like to create something similar for chamber music players (as far as I know there isn't any out there at present). I would want to scan in scores, then produce a front end that would allow players to pick a line that they want to hear and practice with, allowing them to play their own part on its own, emphasised or as part of the whole piece. Could I do this with Musescore?
So where Choralia has different voices (SATB) https://www.choralia.net/bh33mp3/bh33mp3en.htm
I would want to have Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola and Cello
Any thoughts/advice?
Thanks
Martin

Thank you that is really helpful. I will check them out and see where I get to.
