Holding the chord notes
Hello, in case of a chord progression notated using chord symbols, is there an option to force the common notes to remain held?
eg. if writing 1 bar of C major, and 1 bar of F major
then MIDI is wanted to have one single C note over 2-bar length

Not feasible with chord symbols only, I assume?

No, indeed. Just with chords/notes
Sorry, apparently I didn't properly read the initlal question
The default playback is pretty simplistic, but your can use the Tools / Realize Chord Symbols to actually place the notes onto the staff, then edit them as you see fit.
