Clef change between grace note and first note of a measure

• Aug 12, 2022 - 21:09

Hi all,

I have a situation in a piece I'm working on where I need a grace note before the first actual note in a measure, but I need the grace note in the bass clef, and then the first "regular" note in the treble clef. If you look at the attached picture, it seems I'm unable to accomplish this. I need that grace note to be a C two octaves below so need the bass clef, but I'm guessing since it's "tied" to the first note G I cannot insert a clef between them.

Is there any workaround for this, or another way to accomplish the same thing? The only thing I can think of is putting an "After" note grace note on the last beat of the previous measure, but I'd rather not.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

At the moment, probably best workround is what you describedalready (grace after previous note).

If I remember correctly, this has been already reported and (I belive) will be fixed in upcomming Musescore 4.
