Tempo using notes besides of eitghth and quarters
Hi,
I am looking for the possibility to use Tempo with half notes. In the palette I see only eighth and quarter notes and their dotted versions.
When I hit the more widget I see just a blank "menu" :-/
What is to do here to get the proper notes for tempo assignment?
Best regards
HaiHow

You're using the MDL workspace. That probably doesn't have those, try the advanced workspace instead

Ansicht > Arbeitsplätze
or in the top right corner

Ahhh now I see, the advanced workspace is called "Gesamtpalette" in German.
Well I guess I got it from there now. But the other hints, I still don't understand them correctly

No, it is not, Master palette is Gesamepalette. Advanced Workspace is Erweiterter Aurbeitsplatz
But even with the MDL workspace you should see a half note = 80 (and a whole bucnh others) under More rather than just a blank field

Well as the hardcopies show, I dont see any half note. and I don't see any thing after hitting more!!
So what is going on?

No idea what's wrong there, as said: I see them all under More

Is it only that palette where 'More' shows blank, or all others too?

Some show further elements, like "Taktarten, Taktstriche, but there are also a lot of them without any further elements after using more-widget.
But when I used Gesamtpalette, I found what I was looking for, Thx
And you can construct those tempo texts yourself using the F2 text palette

well when I hit the more button not seeing anything there as the hardcopies show, Hitting then F" does not do anything. How can I change or add this palette?
Of course I can change the text, but I have no idea how to get a half note in there!

Editing the text and while in Edit mode hit F2, there you'd find the half note

Yeah, now I see a panel with a lot of symbols and also note values.
If you're in cut time, half note should already be the default when using Add / Text / Tempo Marking or the shortcut Alt+Shift+T.
