jazz drum notation issues
Hi. I've followed the instruction in this article "How to create jazz drum notation"
https://musescore.org/en/node/70431
but when I follow the instructions all the rests from layer 3 do not get placed above the staff, instead they are still in the staff and it's not readable. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong or why this is occurring?

It's a bug that was introduced in a fix for a different case where rests wouldn't be positioned correctly. It's fixed for MuseScore 4, but meanwhile, the workaround is right-click one such rest, Select / More / Same voice, then use the Inspector to set an appropriate (negative) Y offset.
