Is there a way to convert 2/2 time to 4/4 time (change half notes to quarter notes, etc.)?

There is no difference other than the time signature in the way 2/2 and 4/4 are notated. Both have 2 x half notes or 4 x quarter notes per measure. So, just replace the 2/2 time signature with 4/4. But if you after changing the time signature also wish to half the actual duration of all notes, use Paste Half Duration.
