Beaming
Automatic beaming should look at the time signature. At present eight quavers in a 4-4 bar are beamed in two sets of four, but in 4-4 time they should be in four lots of two.

They shouldn't, two groups of 4 is correct according to modern engraving guidelines.
But you are free to modify the time signature settings for a 4/4 time signature in your score to use the 2+2+2+2 beaming instead. You can then Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Drag said modified time signature into your palette for future reuse.
