Two Questions: open version 3 in version 4 and adding dotted note values
How do you open a MuseScore 3x file in MS 4? Example attached.
How do you create a dotted half note or double dotted notes for any note values?

No file attached, but not needed anyway, you just open any Mu3 file in Mu4
The double dot is under the gear wheel icon

The Mu 3x file opened this time. Thanks Earlier the file was not listing? Fixed now. I see the double dotted notes by the gear icon. Where is the dotted half note selection?

There isn't and never was. But there's a half note and there's a dot
