Trying to get note beams to go up and down
I've can't really explain it better, but how can I do this?
There isn't an option for that in the beam palette, nor does it work if I set the first note to "up", and the second to "down".

I've seen this a number of times in v4 (and even more hellish cross-stave variants) but haven't been able to find a repro, as copying the affected measure into a new score fixes the problem. Sometimes just deleting and re-entering the measure will work. Changing note vertical state or moving the beam doesn't fix the issue - sometimes makes it worse i.e. with a dozen stemless notes.

I found a quick way to correct this particular problem, without having to enter the entire bar again:
1. Delete the tie on G2 in bar 28.
2. Delete the G2 semiquaver (16th note) on beat 1 of bar 29
3. Re-enter the G2 semiquaver on beat 1.
4. Move the beam to the required position.
5. Restore the tie in bar 28.
But yes, this is an annoying bug.

Thank you!
Just enter the notes and allow MuseScore to place the beams.
Then click the beam and select the centre anchor.
Use the Up or Down arrow to move the beam as required.

This is what I did. You can see the result in the picture I attached.
