I’m trying to adapt a score I’ve written for ukulele low G tuning, to ukulele re-entrant tuning. The handbook says to right-click on the staff to call up the dialog box to do this, but when I do so, nothing happens. I did this operation once when I first started the score (in order to get to low G) and it worked then. Why not now?

Could you post the score here?
By coincidence I do a lot for ukulele as well, but I never had any problems switching tunings...
With MS4 it even became easier in the instrument side panel.

After right clicking, you need to select 'Staff/Part properties', and then look therein for 'Edit String Data'.
(Be certain to right click on a stringed instrument staff.)

Therein lies the problem: when I right click the selection box does not appear.

Be sure to right click into an empty part of the staff (not on a note/rest).
Otherwise post the score.

Problem solved. It was the right click button on the mouse that was faulty. Thanks anyway.
