Deleting Staves in MuseScore 4
I've just installed MuseScore 4 today, and I noticed that unlike MuseScore 3, the ability to remove a single stave from a group of staves (Ex: 1 staff of a synthesizer when 2 staves are the default) in the instrument selection was removed from MuseScore 4. Is there still a way to do that, or was that feature just cut entirely?

I don't think you can delete them. But you can make them invisible.
Edit/Instruments. Adds an instruments tab to the palette area.
Select the (for example) synth in question. Select the clef in question. Click on the eye. It closes and the staff is invisible.

see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/working-instruments#access
click on "instruments"
select the redundant staff by instrument name
click "del" ; staff gone. (I don't see a menu option to delecte)
It is possible, 'unfold' the instrument, select the staff, use the waste basket icon

Thanks, Jojo, though I'd just noticed the whole drop-down menu in the "instruments" tab shortly after sending this question. I just didn't know how to reopen it after finding that out to say "JK, just found out myself."
