Slur notes

Referring to the screenshot image attached.
I was trying to digitize an old score (right side).
But I'm unable to express it in its original old score format in MuseScore.
Instead, what I did is what is displayed in the left side.

How do I make the left side into the right side in MuseScore so that it looks like the original old score?

There are 2 voices there. Slurs are not relevant. This bit of the Handbook should help https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/working-multiple-voices
