You may look in a folder called .msbackup which on Windows is in a location like this:
\Users\[username]\Documents\MuseScore4\Scores\.mscbackupThe .msbackup folder is a hidden folder by default, so you may have to make it visible through File Explorer or its equivalent.

That's not the right place at all - you're looking in AppData. Not there, but in Documents/MuseScore4/Scores.

That's the right location for where scores are stored by default, but since it's empty, that tells me you stored yours somewhere else. You need to find the folder you actually saved your score to.

Only you know what folder you chose to save the score to - we can't guess that. If you can't remember, you can ask your computer to search for the file - search for all files ending in MSCZ.

what i found is a file with a dot on the beginning of its name and some wave sign at the end:
.want you to be free guitar.mscz~
i can't open it...it says it's corrupt...??? this is where it's located on my pc...

It's a backup file.
Rename the backup file by removing the leading dot and removing the trailing tilde ~. Then at least you should be able to open the file and see the report of any corruptions.
In addition to the good advice you received here, I wanted to mention that I configured my Scores (mscz) files to use a Dropbox folder. Dropbox keeps a detailed history of each file change and has saved my bacon MULTIPLE times.
