Midi playback sounds like it's drunk (Bug or ?)
Whether entering notes or playing back the whole piece, the midi sounds drunk. I don't know how else to say it. It skips and hiccups for every note, and the timing is very inconsistent.
I never had this problem on my old laptop with Windows 10 & Musescore 3. But sadly I had to get a new one, I now use Windows 11 and Musescore 4 (latest versions). It is a new laptop and other audio in other programs all sounds great so I don't think hardware or audio software of the laptop itself are broken.
I simply enter notes into Musescore with the mouse, no other devices connected.
Is this a known bug? If so where can I track progress?
Is there something I need to change from the basic settings?
Is Musescore 4 not compatible with Windows 11?
Please help me fix this, I rely on the midi playback to point out wrong notes and it's pretty useless now.

Totally agree that it spoils the sound that you are trying to express, especially when you can write in this effect when that is what is wanted. It really does sound like a drunken rendition from the string section and a step backward from version 3.

Hard to tell what you are talking about without a score showing the problem.
