the chord symbols stopped being displayed properly in exported videos
Eg., "Cm" turns into an "m", "C7" into a "7" in videos.

I am talking about exported VIDEOS. In the attachment is a screenshot of a video.

That'd be a musescore.com feature and as such needs to brought up there, not here on musescore.org

That was my exact thoughts but Alex Simov from musescore.com said I should write on musescore.org.

Hmm, well, there is such an issue with the MuseScore editor when importing MusicXML files, but it resolves itself when saving and reloading the score. And even that issue will get fixed shortly in 4.1 (hopefully)
But I'd think that musescore.com's "Send to youtube" is at fault here
