It seems my messy code practices have finally caught up with me...
I think I know what the errors are caused by, but I'll need some time to rewrite the code so it works

The json parse error is gone. But still no gui.

There is no gui loading at all. Looks like the plugin isn't doing anything. (my system = ubuntu 22.04LTS)

only the settings plugin has a gui, the others just apply to a selection/whole score

You're welcome! Thanks for taking the time to help me test it. In the meantime, if you want custom settings, you can manually edit the defaultsettings.js file.
