Question on Repeats and jumps again
Hi,
I have repeats and jump in my music sheet.
Bar 1 is repeated once ( played twice)
then Bar 2 Bar 3 are played twice i.e played Bar 2 Bar 3 Bar 2 Bar 3
Notes in Bar 1 and bar 3 are identical. (please see the attachment)
So my question is if coding can be done (using Volta, Coda/ Fine/ etc) without actually putting Bar 3
Thank you
Thiru

I'm sure there are several ways but you risk making a piece unplayable if you have too many complex repeats and jumps.
So, if we call Bar 1 A, Bar 2 B and Bar 3 C, you want A A B C B C ? and, since C = A, this is equivalent to A A B A B A.

This example does, but it is not guaranteed which of the two "D.C." commands is applied first.
At least in measure 2, I set the "D.C." command first and then the "D.C. al Fine" command.

It plays for me in MS 3.6.2

Thank you Daniel.
I have 3.6.2.548021803
When I click on the play button, I do not hear anything, do not see the cursor moving and all items on the left panel greyed out.

It makes exactly the same sequence as yours!
I am also using MuS 3.6.2.
Please check, if the "play repeats" button is active:

Thank you all.
Much appreciated HildeK.

Fine!
Also note what I wrote: "It is not guaranteed which of the two "D.C." commands will be applied first on the same measure."
I've tried something similar several times in Musescore and it worked as desired, but I don't know if this is a permissible type of notation. So far, I haven't seen it done this way in the limited number of paritures I know. I also can't say if it is immediately clear to every musician how to play it. And that's what you should pay attention to in a sheet of music!
Maybe a professional could give another hint about this. I am only an amateur and also still a beginner :-)

Compared to you all I am a very beginner. Thank you so much.
