MIdi out not working
I am using musescore OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.0-231921402, revision: 2e3a93a
I have selected my Roland integra in the midi out preferences and while the midi indicator led on my Roland lights up when notes are received , it does not not produce any sound .
I suspect this is because Musescore is sending notes with a velocity of zero or no basic midi channel info is send
Also there is no way to select the midi out channel ( 1...16) .

In general, MuseScore uses CC messages rather than velocity to control volume, so you might indeed be onto something with respect to why your device isn't handling this. You might need to see if your device can be configured to work that way.

Well then the volume of the midi part on my integra ( cc nr 7 ) would be set to zero ,.
THe midi part volume value (cc7) on the integra remains the same on every channel , just no sound is heard whcih is why I expect a velocity of zero is send .
If musescore is sending a value of zero for midi cc7 ,this should be reflected on the integra on any of the 16 available midi channels .
It seems that multiple people have issues using mussescore 4.1 controlling outboard gear .
I am not even sure if that's possible to use midi control ccnr 7 t control velocity , for volume yes but note ON-OFF velocity is part of the standard mdidi message
Could you direct me to where I can allter the cc''s values in musescore and more importantly the midi channels ?
