All hell breaks loose in playback. (MuseScore 4)
I have no idea how to even describe it. I was TRYING to have a peaceful listen to an intro I made for a podcast when...
I have no idea what on earth I did to this program to receive nightmares.
I have tried restarting my computer, updating my drivers, and anything else I could think about, but for now I will use MuseScore 3.
I will do what I can to provide further information.

I'm on Windows 10, MuseScore 4.1.1, using MS Basic sound and hear the A3 notes (with the 'x' notehead) in the Bass staff continue to sound non-stop. Changing the x notehead to normal appears to fix this.
(Opening the .mscx file in MuseScore 3 plays okay with the x noteheads.)
What soundfont are you using?

Yes, something's broken.
Can you fix it by changing the 'x' noteheads to normal? (Not in the drums, but in the Bass.)
I find that leaving even one 'x' notehead behind still messes up the playback.

It works better, but for some reason the bass and contrabass are almost four octaves higher than they should be.
