Broken Shortcuts
MS4
As far as I can tell, these shortcuts are broken:
Preferences > Shortcuts > Select top note in chord
Preferences > Shortcuts > Select bottom note in chord
They were working a few days ago.

What do you mean by "broken"? What happens, what was expected, what OS (Windows, Mac, ubuntu etc.)?
Hard to test on my system since [Ctrl][Alt][UpArrow] is the default MuseScore shortcut for this but my system uses that key combo to change virtual desktop so intercepts it before MuseScore can get a look-in.
OS: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.1-232071203, revision: e4d1ddf

By 'broken' I mean not working, ie nothing happens.
Here's a default file, with default shortcuts.
I highlight the chords, press [Ctrl][Alt][UpArrow] .. and nothing happens. Same with the bottom note version [Ctrl][Alt][DownArrow]
Previously, the top or bottom note of each chord would be selected.
The other shortcuts, such as moving a note up/down, chromatically/diatonically work.
OS: Mac 12.6.5 iMac

If it used to work and doesn't now, then the next step would be to figure out what changed on your system. Could be the OS auto-updated a driver, or you installed some third party utility that traps those keystrokes. Have you tried customizing those shortcuts to something else?

As far as I know, nothing has updated on the system. I haven't added any software.
I have tried using other keystroke combinations. None of them work either.
I closed Keyboard Maestro macro program. Still nothing. And I did a factory reset but that didn't fix the problem.

Which custom shortcuts keystrokes did you try, specifically? Could be that whatever changed on your system has reserved a lot of shortcuts. On my system Alt+Up and Alt+Down is reserved, so no combination using those together will work. I have this command customized to Ctrl+Alt+[ and Ctrl+Alt+] and it works for me.
In any case, if it worked before and isn't now, clearly something on your system changed, but unfortunately we can't help you sort that out. Could be the keyboard itself is simply failing.
Yes, my "Jump to Measure" doesn't work too, which would be very handy.

My "Jump to Measure" [Ctrl/Cmd-F] is working.
Does 'select top/bottom notes' work on your system?

If you mean that CTRL+F successfully displays the search box but the score does not move when you enter a search destination, check that "Pan score automatically" is selected in the playback settings. You need to click on the cogwheel in the play panel to see these settings.
If CTRL+F is not even bringing up the search box, that is a different problem that I can't help with.

There is a way to get version 2 of MuseScore? C'mon, it's not impossible. Currently i'm upon win 10, so it should be an exec file preferibly.

Of course you can download a version of MS2, on the Download page just follow the link to "Other packages for all platforms (1.x, 2.x, 3.x - 3.2.3)":

Indeed, it’s possible to install older versions with literally thousands of bugs that have been fixed meanwhile. But, why? Sounds like maybe are having trouble understanding how to use the find command (Ctrl/Cmd+F). Best to start a new thread and explain what is going wrong when use use this command. Probably some simple misunderstanding we can clear up without inflicting you with thousands of long-fixed bugs!
