Spacings in score are being weird

This is the first time I've encountered this problem.

I've always edited my scores in continuous view just because it was easier to see all the parts and when I was finished, I'd put it into page view. This particular score was saved in MuseScore 3.6.2 and I recently switched over to the latest version. I guess I had it saved in page view and when I put it into continuous view, the spacings between each instrument becomes ridiculously stretched (as seen below). I'm not really sure why this is happening and every time I try to change the spacings between each instrument, the stretching gets wider and wider.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
