Opening the drumset part resets most slash notation noteheads
You know how there's this known bug of the slash notation toggle giving the opposite notehead to the expected one, if parts exist?
And you know how in normal notation mode, drumset staff noteheads can't be modified?
I think those two are at play here: if you create cue notes with slash noteheads (that have to be manually changed to actually be slashes due to the first bug...) and then open the drum part, a random amount of them gets reset to either not slash notation anymore, or "slash notation" but with normal drumset noteheads.

I'm interested in your reason for using slash notation for drum parts.

Cues. In the middle, in regular size, you place stemless slashes on all beats to say "keep the groove as stylistically appropriate", occasionally broken up by stemmed slashes indicating an interruption in the groove and to instead play ONLY those accents. On the bottom, on the kick space, small regular-headed notes indicate the mandatory accents to add into the groove. On the top, small slashes indicate the rhythm of the melodic instruments, so the drummer 1. has a better idea of where they are in the score and 2. can choose to add accents ad libitum that make sense with the melody

Do the drummers you write for like all the extra stuff you've written? One of the things musicians do in listen to each other. Regardless of what the printed music says. It is possible to overmark a score and take away the musicians ability to actually make music.
