cresc over repeat barline
How do I prevent the cresc. line going over a repeat barline to the next bar like in the picture?

I can't find a way to shorten it without having the crest on all the notes in the bar.The problem is the line shouldn't connect up to the dynamic because they don't actually play in succession.

I don't see any overlap:

But it doesn't look like the image you showed earlier, thich didn't have any notes in the 2nd measure
