playback skips over Finish (fine).
Repeat and finish.mscz
The chorus plays though, then jumps to the Bridge after the first ending, as it should. Then on the second play though of the chorus it doesn’t go to the second ending and finish, instead it jumps to the bridge and stops at the last measure. Thanks for the help. Mark

Please attach your score (not a screenshot, the whole .mscz file). We can't tell what the problem is without looking at it.

Here it is.

You don't have a repeat in the first volta. That's why it was entirely skipping the second volta.
Your D.S. isn't D.S. al Fine, so it officially wasn't supposed to stop at the Fine. Also, since your Segno is at the very beginning, it doesn't really need to be D.S. at all. D.C. works at that point. If you wanted the D.S. to return to the second measure (or later), then it would make sense to use the Segno and D.S..
Anyway, take a look at my version: Repeat and finish_1.mscz
Oddly, you'll see the line indicating the play point continue for a few measures after it reaches the Fine. It seemingly always does this, but seemingly is not a problem. *shrug*

Not exactly what I need to happen. After the chorus plays the first time (volta 1) , I want playback to continue at the Bridge (measure 8). It should play through the bridge once. Then return to the Segno to play through the chorus until the second ending, wear it finishes . With a repeat after the first volta, the chorus repeats and totally disregards the Bridge (measure 8).

No, it plays through the A part until the volta. then returns to play through the A part again. This second time it plays the second volta and continues on to the B part. Then it goes back to the start, plays the A part, but skips the 1st volta, playing the second volta and hitting the Fine.
I take it you don't want to repeat the A part. In that case, try this one:
As far as I know, voltas only work with repeats. (Somebody correct me if I'm mistaken here!!!) So change it to a D.S. al Coda instead.

Thanks for helping me work through the repeat and finish issue. I completed and published the song. It can be seen here: https://musescore.com/user/34110726/scores/16139668

By chance, I noticed that the word "Freedom", shortly before the begin-repeat, is spelled without the "r": "Feedom".

Good catch, Thanks.------- I just tried to update the score, but apparently there's a BUG that prevents the upload that replaces the file. So for now it'll remain fee-dom. I'll check back from time to time to see if the BUG is fixed.

Another possibility is shown in my modification:
Instead of this long first volta, you can also use D.S. al Coda, a 'To Coda' and in the last measure the label 'Coda'.
Since your score was free to download, I am attaching my solution here. (Done with MuS 3.7)

That looks good and works well. Thanks

I would like to add that you don't need the 'Fine' in the last measure. It's the last measure anyway. But it doesn't interfere either.
'Fine' is only important if, for example, you use 'D.S. al Fine' or 'D.C. al Fine' and then have the end somewhere in the middle of the score. The 'Fine' is then necessary there.

Good point. Thanks.

Wait! Isn't that exactly what I had suggested? (It is :-)
