MIDI files into DAW
Hello, I'm starting to edit the music I've written in Musescore4 using DAWs (Reaper) to achieve a more personal sound. I've opted out of using VST/VSTi in musescore directly due to the inconsistency in dynamics playback for certain VST's, so I'm importing the MIDI files from Musescore to the DAW.
I've noted that my dynamic markings such as pp, ff, crescendos and decrescendos don't translate into the DAW through the MIDI. Is it possible that I'm missing something when assigning the dynamics markings in the sheet music or when exporting the MIDI files that causes this issue?
(uploaded a MWE as sheet music and midi export / working in windows btw)
Thank you for any help!

it seems to work in Cakewalk (Windows 11)

Hey, thanks for the response!
Downloaded cakewalk to try it out, and the dynamic markings are associated to the breath of the track(checked in reaper and it's the same case). When reproducing the MIDI with a VST it does not change the volume according to the dynamics. However, when using short notes instead of long tied notes, the velocity does change an follows the dynamics.
Kind of lost if this is something I have to set up previously in Musescore or is it a property translation problem the MIDI has when imported to the DAW?
