Playback problem
Loaded MuseScore 4.3 into Windows 11, updating from MuseScore 2 on XP. Downloaded Muse Hub also. A new test score in MuseScore 4.3 will not play. I hit the play button, but blue cursor appears but doesn't move, and nothing happens.

For starters, in MU4, go to View>Playback setup, and (assuming you downloaded Muse Sound) activate Muse sounds. Otherwise choose Basic sounds.

No, the blue line appears but just sits there.

Are there instruments listed in the mixer? If you click on a note, does it sound? You also might try a revert to factory settings found in the Help tab.

For some reason, it's playing now! However, pieces I created in MuseScore 2 are playing at chipmunk speed, 4 to 6 times faster than the notated tempo.
