No change font size feature for multi-bar rest numbers
I just wanted to shrink the size of the number for the multi-bar rests and all there is in the properties widget and style window is position data. It would be nice to have this feature as it is there for bar numbers

But you can shrink (the number) them by ticking “Cue Size” in the Properties.
There is a typo. I was specifically referring to the bar numbers under multi-bar rests but from cadiz1 I've been shown this is also an issue with the large number above the multi-bar rests

Pardon me, but I wasn't clear.
After proofreading, when you write “I was specifically referring to the bar numbers under multi-bar rests", you're referring to changing the size via menu Format / Style / Text styles, probably?
Or am I missing something else?
If it's related to the Text styles, indeed, the Size parameter is active for “Measure number” but, under (in the same dialog), not for “Multimease rest range”.
In the meantime, as you saw in the first answer, you can nevertheless act (not in a customized way, of course) on this size via “Cue Size” in Properties.
NB: I can't see this same Multimeasure rests dialog (in Text styles) working with V3 either.
EDIT: ah, just see this! https://musescore.org/en/node/326971

In MuS 3 you can change it either in the inspector or in Format > Style -> Text Styles -> Multimeasure Rest Range.

We're talking about the size of the MM rest number. As I said earlier (at NB), in V3 (3.6.2), this dialog in Text styles is inactive.
The default size is 8.00pt. Changing it has no effect. Similarly, in Inspector, we can modify the position of the number, not its size.
Again, see: https://musescore.org/en/node/326971

Sorry for the confusion. I overlooked the little word here: "...feature as it is..."
