RE INSTALLING APP?
PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME IF I DELETE AND REINSTALL, WILL I STILL HAVE ALL MY SCORES?
I CAN'T OPEN MY PROGRAM AT ALL, SO I'M THINKING THIS MIGHT BE THE QUICKEST FIX

I suggest you first unstick you Caps Lock.
Re-installing rarely helps. Try reverting to factory settings as a first attempt at a fix. See. https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/revert-factory-settings
You will lose any customisations you have made e.g. palettes and keyboard shortcuts but you will not lose or change any scores.
If that doesn't work, come back and explain in more detail how you are trying to open the program and what if anything happens when you try.

I did this as you suggest and I am being given the message
“ No such file or directory”
I took a screenshot of my computer just in case

Hmm? that looks like it's not Windows.
Time for me to step aside for someone else who understands these strange other operating systems.

It’s MacOS, not really that strange!
To the OP; i don’t know if it matters, but you missed a space between the \ and the 4. Did you enter the command yourself, or with copy/paste?

I entered it myself very carefully
Now I tried again, with your suggested fix; still the same message returned
“No such file or directory”
I think next I should uninstall the app
Tried dragging to Trash, did not work.
Any suggestions?

Now, I'm trying un uninstall and a re1install, but I'm being told that MuseHub cannot be moved to the trash because it is open. I looked at Forcequit options and it's not on that list as open. I think this might be the problem that's jamming up my app.
Of course, I've done restarts.
Not sure what else to do
any ideas?

There are various cleaner apps for Mac OS. Google Mac App Cleaner for a number of hits.

Restarts are not working, nor is a complete shutdown
I keep getting the message that Musehub is in use, but I don't see that it is.
I think this is what's gumming me up.
Is there some helpline separate from this forum?
