Option to turn off auto-soloing playback when selecting a bar
Possibly a controversial one, as I've seen extensive discussions over this pop up, but just wanted to put my thoughts across...
To be clear - I'm talking about the behaviour introduced in MuseScore 4 where selecting a single note plays the all instruments, but selecting a bar plays only the selected instrument and mutes all others.
It's obvious that for a lot of people this is completely intuitive and a huge convenience. However, for a lot of others (myself included) the exact opposite is true. My question - for a feature that so clearly divides opinion, why not allow it to be controlled by an option in the preferences menu?
I'm in no way suggesting the feature be removed - as I said, clearly lots of people find it really useful. You can keep it turned on by default! I'm just asking for an option to turn it off, so that those of us who struggle with it are able to do so - surely, more choice is better than forcing everyone to use the same setting.
It may sound like an exaggeration, but this is probably the main thing stopping me from from fully moving from MS3 to MS4 - and I really want to, MS4 otherwise seems fantastic! I just find this behaviour so completely unintuitive, and I really don't want to have to unlearn such a fundamental part of my workflow. I could list my reasons why I find it so unintuitive, but to a certain extent I don't think those reasons matter - this seems like a perfect candidate for allowing the user to choose which behaviour they want.

Actually, this was introduced in 3.6.2. Not a problem for me. Sorry it is for you.

Are you sure? I'm running 3.6.2 and it's definitely not happening.
