Musescore 4.4 does not display dotted notes with Pitch Name noteheads
Musescore 4.3.6 worked fine for all my simple needs. Musescore 4.4 and 4.4.1 both lose all the dots on dotted notes when I use the Pitchname noteheads. Since this is all my classes, it is now unusable - please fix ASAP. For clarification. with normal noteheads, the dotted notes show. When I switch to Pitch Name noteheads, a dotted quarternote, for example will show as simply a plain quarter note and the measure will display with an improper timing (if measure of 4 beats had two dotted quarter notes, the dots will disappear and measure will only display 3 beats worth of notes). If I then switch back to normal noteheads, the dots are still missing.
Program is now useless and worse than that, I do not see how to go back to 4.3

Also the upwards stems are aligned wrongly/badly, not to the edge of the head, but further inwards

I am getting both of these issues on the "7 shape (Aikin)" notehead scheme as well. Not sure if this is helpful/needed for your report.
