The Dreaded Spiral
Musescore 4 up to date on all three computers I use.
Symphonic scores
Continually freezes with the spiral turning and turning and turning for about 1 1/2 minutes at a time before releasing to allow my next moves.
All three computers do the same thing.
Losing hours of work waiting for the spiral to stop.

No idea what spiral you're talking about
What version of MuseScore exactly, what OS, which scores, what steps to reproduce

The spinning circle on the screen informing you that you need to wait before being allowed the pleasure of continuing your work. All scores all three computers no particular steps to reproduce that I have been able to identify. Symphonic scores-long pieces. Randomly freezes. Windows 11 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400T CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz 12.0 GB (11.8 GB usable) This is my office all in one where I sometimes work.
It feels like musescore 4.4.2 is not up to the task of dealing with a large symphonic score however I notice on the forum many many others experiencing the same with less weighty processing required.
I notice you answer a lot here and I see you developed a program associated with musescore. Do you do remote work for hire?
I have a recording in January with a symphony orchestra in Czech Republic and need help with musescore as I rely on it Ok TY for your response and any advice you may have

Not the Symbol but the Meaning
We really need a sample score from you so that we can see what is happening.
