Bass notes between the chords?

Hi, is it possible to mark chords so that MS can play chords and sometimes only bass notes (no chords)?
The notes can be marked as shown in the picture, but the MS does not play them. See the picture.

You can achieve your goal with Chord Symbol>Voicing - Root Only—but presently, only if you spell out the whole chord.

For instance /C# /E won't work. However, A/C# and A/E work to sound the root, but only if you set the property as described.

I'd like to enter the chord symbol as you did, with just /C# /E ... or enable a property that hides everything before the /
