The Forums are displaying posts from many years ago
....without anyone having posted a comment in our era. I just saw a post from 13 years ago where the person had a problem but then replied to their own post that they had fixed it. The self-reply was also from 2011. No one else posted anything. There are many examples of this on the forums. It contributes to clutter and confusion and should be addressed someday.

*Necroposting, as I usually see it referred to. I have also noticed an increase on the musescore.com lately. New users new with the internet perhaps.

Yes. All the people I've spoken to since 1838 have referred to this as Musescore-Z.
Might have been a new spam comment that got removed already?

Perhaps, but the fact is there's still a corpse on the lawn. That's why since 1838 people refer to the Musescore Forums as "Musescore-Z". (Z for zombie)

Which post(s) are you referring to?

For instance, one from 2016 called "How do I delete a rest". Another one from 2012 called "MuseScore 1.2 prerelease ready for testing". Like, many posts, too numerous for me to actually say but you can spot them by just looking at the forum list.

Maybe if the programming boys can have their way with the forums then they could put anything from last year

These are the only links I could find on short notice. If you'll be patient I'm sure I can rustle up some more...

Oh, you meant hyper-links! That's way too much coffee for these links. Here's one of the ones I mentioned:

But I like said, by simply browsing you'll come across a bunch of them without even trying.

All the old threads I've seen have posts by someone recent, usually answering a question that was asked two or five or ten years ago. That's why he's asking for URLs: 'cause nobody else (well, at any rate, nobody else posting) has seen them.
