Musescore Playback Issue
Greetings,
I am having playback issues ever since I've downloaded the upgraded version of Musescore. The playback is choppy, out of rhythm and sometimes doesn't even play the melody.

Same here too, 4.3.2 worked fine.
yes, this is another issue I've been having and I've done all the buffer advanced settings. hope it doesn't last because it's very frustrating.
Buffer is a setting in MuseScore. Make sure your actual sound device is selected. Not Default. Bit rate is an advanced setting. As is turning off Exclusive mode.
Don't change audio devices while MuseScore is open. I.E. Plugging or headphones, or speakers.

I didn't see an exclusive mode I'm using windows 11. I know Buffer is a setting in muscore I have it set on the highest one, and headphones . Even all these tweaks haven't helped.

Later versions of MU4 seem to like lower buffer settings. Try them. Mine works at 1024. Exclusive mode is found in more advanced settings. Try here: https://musescore.org/en/node/339915. This is an older How To, but some things still can work.
