How do I change instrument in a part of a staff - Musescore version 3.6.2
I have made a vocal arrangement and the instruments are defined as vocal. However, in some part of the staff I want to playback to sound like a piano and then turn it back to vocal some bars later.
I have managed to do this before, so I know it is possible, but can't remember how.
Nice if anyone can tell me how this can be done.
Best regard Geir

Use an instrument change, it is found in the text palette

In MuseScore 4, how do I specify/select the instrument sound? Is it in the TEXT palette as well? (I could do that in MuseScore 3. E.g., Violins, Violins Expr, Violins Slow...)

Thanks Daniel, but I should clarify: My question was about accessing a list of "GM Programs" --- the list of General MIDI instrument sounds." (There are 128 such sounds.) I was able to select them for my scores in MuseScore 3, as shown in the attached partial-score below: e.g., "Violins Tremolo Expressive", "Honky-tonk Piano" ... etc.
In MS4, all I see are instrument descriptions: "Piano", "Violin", etc. I can't seem to select the SPECIFIC kind of piano or violin sound I want. Is that capability available in MS 4? If so, how do I access them? Thank you.
