Plugin not showing up in Musescore 4.

I recently downloaded the 12 hole ocarina fingerings plugin, and I have it enabled in the menu with a shortcut and everything, but when I use the shortcut in a score, I'm shown a blank grey box. It is not like this with other plugins. Anyone know how to fix this? I am on a 2020 Linux Mac.
