No sound after update
What to do?
Additionals: It works with my bluetooth headset but only with this. Weird. When I use my cable headset it stops working, even when the audio options are explicitly selected for cable headset and every other applications works just fine with them.
Edit: Case solved.
Comments
Try reverting to factory settings;
Try checking the File/Preferences/Audio-Midi settings (possibly vary the buffer).

Yeah, maybe they can try playing with the setting in Edit > Preferences > Audio & MIDI > Audio Device.

Already tried. No result. Check my additional comment. It works with bluetooth headset, but not with cable headset or loud speaker, even when the Musescore audio settings are explicitly put to cable headset or system sound.

So I:
Yet Musescore still won't output via my cable headphones (they are functioning. Every other app works just fine with them). When I go options > audio & midi > device: bluetooth headset, it works again. But only with my bluetooth headset, which I don't want to use for this.

Newest one 4.4.3 with Windows 10.
Note: my reply above (or below). I somehow made it function again.

So
> my bluetooth headphones died down
> I put them away
> set Musescore Audio output to cable headphones
> no output
> I rebooted my computer
> started Musescore
> no output
> toggled and untoggled midi input (this step only worked now)
> output
My face when: ^^
Thanks for the support. Musescore should pay you guys a salary. :)
I had the no sound issue too. Nothing was showing in the mixer under the sound option and no options to choose from. I ended up having to uninstall the programme and reinstall as a reboot didn't work nor reverting to factory settings. Happy to say the reinstall has worked and MS Basic is now showing in sound and it's playing back the notation.

Formal systems, which advanced technologies are build upon, can be a real pain sometimes, especially when the error is somewhere deep in the details. A reboot and the clicks mentioned in my last reply from XX:46 'o clock finally did it for me. Cheers!
