Crashing when editing - newly developed issue, tied to the score not the software?
MuseScore 3 (I've made the jump to 4 with school stuff, but not yet for personal stuff, I prefer 3 quite a bit)
Set of variations composed last week, everything went well.
Had an idea to insert a new variation, so I inserted new measures and wrote some new music. Everything went well.
Went to edit the part, and everything is off by one measure, and the first few measures AFTER the inserted measures were really weird. (An issue for another day...)
So I copied the rest of the piece, deleted all bars before the glitch, and pasted. Fixed time signatures, key signatures, etc. Everything looked right.
But now, when I click on any slur in the part, crash. Adjust things in the part, crash. Crashing left and right. Save As to see if that would help, nope - crash. Can't get any work done.
ATTACHED FOUR VERSIONS - But the one I'm trying to use is "AGAIN," as it is the most recent, and has the most updated content.
Thanks for any help you can provide in resolving this bug so I can get back to work :-)

I've started looking at AGAIN. The main problem is that this score is the result of a PDF conversion. As you can see when you open the score, a warning indicates that it is corrupted. From then on, anything can happen, including crashes.
From measures 167/168, right to the end, obviously something went wrong (concerning a time signature, probably, to be checked). There doesn't seem to be a magical way to fix this. This whole passage will probably have to be re-entered manually?
However, can you attach the PDF itself, to better understand where the problem started and possibly facilitate the correction.

Hmm. I started this piece from scratch. It's possible I used the formatting from something else, but I wrote this piece from m. 1 to the end, and then inserted the 2/2&3/2 section before the B Minor 3/4, but none of this content was imported.

" I started this piece from scratch"
Well, it's not what I see in Score Properties.

Right, I imported a different piece (arrangement from high school for the same instrumentation) worked on it, formatted it nicely, then when it was time, I hit Save As, deleted the whole thing, and started from measure 1. None of the content in this score is imported - the file before it was.

I also don't see the corruption warning when I open the file (Windows 10). Where would that display?

Well, with Windows 10 too (and on Mac, but the OS isn't the problem), I see this when opening your score AGAIN with version 3.6.2

Interesting - That wasn't showing up for me before with AGAIN, but it is now.
When I open LAPTOP, I don't get the corruption notice, but as soon as I click on a slur in the Bassoon part, the program crashes.
Do you recommend working from AGAIN, but deleting and re-engraving everything after bar 165?

Yes. And remove the part first.

Ok, I'll do that. Is it possible to be okay if I copy-paste it, or is it best to re-engrave?
Thanks for the help!

"Is it possible to be okay if I copy-paste it"
Hmm...I doubt it - the corruption is really too serious. In fact, it's not a question of simply deleting the content of the measures (with Del), but of deleting the measures themselves (Ctrl + Del), then adding new measures, and entering the notes.
