Change time/key signature, chord problem
Hi, I couldn't find the answers to my issues so I am sorry if they are out here somewhere and I missed them.
Can I change key and time signatures on the fly? The composition starts in 4/4, goes to 2/4, back to 4/4, then to 12/8. I need to be able to do the same with the key, that changes a couple of times.
Also, when I tried to input a chord (I am only in treble clef) where there are two half notes at the bottom and two quarter note and a half on top, I could not get the quarter note over the half. When I added the quarter note, it changed my half note to a quarter note.

Yes you can change Time signature s and Key signature s. Read the handbook.
A chord is two or more notes of the same duration played at the same time. What you describe is more a case for Voices

Sorry, I should have specified that I DID read your handbook (and saw the information in your links) and I DID search your forum to see if anyone else had trouble with this, before I posted.
Regardless, I am having trouble changing these on the fly so I thought I'd ask if it really had this capability, or if it was just my problem. Obviously, this is my problem only. I will keep working with it or find other notation software. Thanks.

Can you specify what parts you are having trouble with? For example, when you drag a key signature onto the score what happens?
