numeric keypad not recognized? (Linux)
Mscore2.0 on LinuxMint 17.1
The numeric keypad doesn't do anything - I have to use the numbers on the main keyboard to enter note length values (numlock is on, of course I checked)
Is this something I can fix, or do I just have to be patient for more Linux-compatibility?
(a huge thanks to all developers btw for the wonderful software!)

indeed
these shortcuts are not in the default configuration. One has to create them.

Can you elaborate a bit just how you did it?
I get: "Shortcut conflicts with Note duration Whole (TAB)".

That is due to a small bug which was solved (among others) in MuseScore 2.0.1.
You should update MuseScore.
The not-working numpad under Linux is caused by a Qt bug. See here for an explanation and a workaround for MuseScore 2.0 (as I said, with 2.0.1 you can define the shortcuts without the "conflict" message):

Thank you ABL, the .xml-file did the trick - even in 2.0.0 and also even without having to change shortcuts. Super!

Ah I didn't remember that I used this workaround.....
At the time the 2.0.1 didn't arrive in the PPAs, but linux nightlies are available (I compile them).
Not sure however that they run without problem in any ubuntu based system.
