Fixing Corrupted Measure

Sometimes on old scores that I have brought into Musescore 2 from an older version I occasionally get measures corrupted after I edit the score. Is there any way to fix these without deleting and re-inserting the measure?

In my example (see attachment), I deleted the notes from several parts in my score in a particular measure. Of the six parts shown in the example, 4 have 3.5 beats and 2 have 4 (they should all be 4). There is no way to get four beats into those measures as far as I can tell!

OK thanks that helped (I used the alternate voice, insert whole rest, etc.). I still needed to wipe out the notes that were there before, but it was easier to do that one measure at a time.
