is version 1 available for translation ?
I began a translation ( to esperanto) and just found that I’m using the superseded 9.6.1 version. I would rather work the 1.0 version

Translations is done for the upcoming 1.1 version on the translation server : http://translate.musescore.org/translate/languages/eo/edit

However in the loaded file the 3d sentence reads as "Version: 0.9.0"

Must be an artifact in the code somewhere. Lasconic, can you have a look for "Version: 0.9.0" with contact AboutBox?
Update: Same for "Revizio: 628", also in AboutBox

Lasconic did a fix on the code and the translation server now reflects the latest codebase. We also added a task to the issue tracker: #11502: Mark strings as non translatable in UI files when necessary So for next release, we'll do a major check of all translatable strings and make them untranslatable if needed.
